How Tariffs and Tech Are Reshaping Global Trade: Supply Lines

The changes to global trade driven by technology and geopolitics are likely here to stay.

That’s the view from FedEx CEO Raj Subramaniam, one of many business leaders who spoke this week at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum in Singapore.

“There’s a new equilibrium state being formed in this new supply chain pattern and they’re much more regional in nature,” he said during a panel discussion Thursday about resilience. “The industrial economy is going to take a little longer to change. But once it changes, it’s difficult to go back.”
