House Passes FY20 Bill, Preps Border Funds; Trump Threatens Iran

The House today passed its second appropriations package that would prohibit the inclusion of a citizenship question on the 2020 census, a measure President Donald Trump has threatened to veto. Trump also threatened a veto on House Democrats’ border funding bill that the party’s leaders said will pass later today. Trump today also threatened to use overwhelming force against Iran, warning of “obliteration” in a tweet.
