Greek Crude Tanker Highlights Risk of Russia Oil-Sanctions Limbo

A European-owned oil tanker is hauling Russian crude that could unload after sanctions on crude shipments come into effect, highlighting a lingering risk for ships of falling foul of EU sanctions.

The Delta Harmony, owned by Greece’s Delta Tankers Ltd., loaded a cargo of crude oil at Russia’s Primorsk port earlier this month. It will arrive in India after Dec. 5, when the European Union’s measures on Russian oil are due to begin.
