Farm Machinery Maker CNH Sees Rebound Delayed Until 2027 (1)

Tough conditions are set to linger on North America’s farms as low crop prices and trade uncertainty push off a recovery until next year, according to CNH Industrial NV, one of the world’s largest agricultural machinery makers.

Global demand this year could fall “another 5%, down to historic trough levels,” the maker of tractor brands including Case IH and New Holland said in a statement Tuesday. The outlook dampens hopes for a farm rebound sooner than that.

“The farmer sentiment in North America is not great,” Chief Executive Officer Gerrit Marxsaid on a call with investors.
