EU, U.K. Reach Deal on 2021 Fishing Rights for Joint Stocks

The European Union and the U.K. reached an agreement in principle that establishes limits on the amount of fish that can be caught from their jointly managed stocks this year, the European Commission said in a statement.

The deal is due to be signed in the coming days and follows a telephone call Wednesday between Fisheries Commissioner Virginijus Sinkevicius and British Environment Minister George Eustice.
