Dutch Premier Warns of Lawmaking Delays After Coalition Collapse

Dutch caretaker Prime Minister Dick Schoof told lawmakers they need to decide which issues to prioritize following the collapse of his government.

The Netherlands is set for months of uncertainty after far-right politician Geert Wilders pulled the plug on the coalition Tuesday. The caretaker government’s remit is also unclear. The parliament is expected to vote on a list of subjects deemed “controversial” and must be avoided until after fresh elections.
