Customs Again Extends Pilot Program On Advance Screening of Air Cargo

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is extending the Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) pilot program for another nine months, through July 26, 2014, and is reopening the application period for new participants for 60 days, according to a Federal Register notice scheduled for publication Oct. 23.

The ACAS pilot is a voluntary test.
