Copper Slides From Record as Trump and Xi Conclude Meeting

Copper retreated from the previous session’s record high after US President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping concluded pivotal trade talks.

The London Metal Exchange’s benchmark price fell as much as 1.8%, after climbing to an all-time high of $11,200 a ton on Wednesday and lifting this year’s surge to more than 25%.
