Compass to Capitalize on Uncertainty as Firms Move to Outsource

Compass Group Plc said it was “well placed” to benefit as macroeconomic pressures push companies to outsource their catering.

The food catering firm, which serves offices, hospitals and universities, reported net new business growth of 4.4% in the first half, with first-time outsourcing accounting for 45% of new business wins, according to a statement Wednesday. It said that more demanding consumers alongside a shaky economy continue to accelerate first-time outsourcing.
