Chinese Gas Buyer to File Complaint Against a Key US Exporter

Chinese oil major Sinopec is planning to file a complaint against a key US natural gas exporter, joining at least five other customers that have said Venture Global LNG Inc. isn’t honoring its contracts.

Sinopec is preparing to file for arbitration in London against Venture Global for failing to fulfill its contract to supply liquefied natural gas, according to a person familiar with the matter who isn’t authorized to speak publicly.
