China took aim at U.S. restrictions on exports to a Chinese-backed chipmaker, urging the U.S. on Oct. 30 to immediately stop this “wrongful” practice.
China’s Ministry of Commerce said it opposes Washington’s unilateral sanctions and interference in corporations’ normal international trade, according to a statement posted on the MOFCOM website.
At issue is Fujian Jinhua Integrated Circuit Co. Ltd., which was added to the U.S. entity list.
