Canada’s National Energy Board Backs Jordan Cove LNG Gas Export Application

Canada’s National Energy Board Feb. 20 said it has approved an application for a 25-year natural gas export license by Calgary-based, Veresen-owned Jordan Cove LNG L.P. to export natural gas from the Canadian province of British Columbia to Oregon.

The license is for a maximum term amount of 15.63 trillion cubic feet. It covers volume of 1.55 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d).

The proposed export points include existing natural gas pipelines that cross the Canada-U.S. border near Kingsgate and Huntingdon, British Columbia 10 DER A-35, 1/15/14; 195 DER A-4, 10/8/13.
