American Airlines CEO Robert Isom spoke with President Trump, who said after the DC aircraft collision that aviation safety is a priority for his administration, according to a letter to employees.
- Trump made clear to Isom that he is committed to continuing to work with American and the industry to increase safety
- “We look forward to working with him on behalf of all our customers and team members in the name of safety,” the letter says
- The call took place on Monday evening
