The Trump administration released Friday a proposed plan for how it will tackle the fourth cycle of Medicare’s drug price negotiation program.
The proposed rule (RIN 0938-AV90), issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, lays the groundwork for how the US government will select and slash the prices of 20 prescription drugs covered under Medicare Part B and Part D. Those prices are slated to go into effect in 2029.
