Travelers Units Sue New Mexico Water Utility Over Arsenic Cases

Travelers Cos. units are suing a New Mexico utility over insurance coverage for litigation alleging it failed to remove arsenic from drinking water.

Suits by Camino Real Regional Utility Authority’s customers and the New Mexico Environment Department aren’t covered under liability insurance policies issued to the utility, Travelers Indemnity Co. and Travelers Property Casualty Co. said in a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of New Mexico.
