Travelers, Hartford Off the Hook for Hair Product Class Action

A New Jersey federal court ended a hair product company’s suit seeking insurance coverage for a consumer class action, handing a win to Travelers Cos. and Hartford Insurance Group Inc. units.

The underlying case against Hair Zone Inc. doesn’t fall within the scope of coverage afforded by the Travelers and Hartford policies, the US District Court for the District of New Jersey said in a Wednesday order.
