TikTok, YouTube Influencers Pressured by Brands to Buy Insurance (1)

Companies that contract with influencers are beginning to demand that even second-tier social media personalities buy insurance protection against legal action.

“I’m here to tell you that it’s real and I’m seeing more and more contracts that require general liability insurance” for influencers, Thya Sanders said in a July 19 “red flag” video on her popular Bloomies for Creators account.
