Texas Property Developer Sued by Insurer Over Assault Liability

An Allianz SE insurance unit sued entrepreneur and property developer William Hutchinson and his commercial real estate company, seeking to avoid covering claims of sexual assault, battery, and negligence.

Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co.'s excess policies can’t be triggered until primary commercial general liability policies issued by Hartford Insurance Group Inc. are exhausted, according to the Allianz unit’s complaint Wednesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
