A group of 13 fashion models failed in their bid to get Watford Specialty Insurance Co. to pay for settlements they struck with Watford policyholders over allegedly improper editing of their images.
The commercial liability policies held by the two Arizona strip clubs that settled with the models contained a provision that bars coverage for copyright infringement, according to the US District Court for the District of Arizona’s Monday grant of the insurer’s motion to dismiss.
