Sanctioned Oil Tanker Was Briefly Grounded in Suez Canal (1)

A heavily-sanctioned tanker carrying Russian oil briefly ran aground in the Suez Canal.

The ship, called the Komander, drifted in the northern part of the waterway, according to ship-tracking data compiled by Bloomberg. The Suez Canal Authority said the incident was a result of engine issues, lasted about 30 minutes and the ship was towed and refloated.
