RLI Insurance Drops Retaliation Coverage Suit Against Nonprofit

An RLI Corp. insurance unit and an Arizona nonprofit agreed to end a coverage dispute over legal defense costs in a suit accusing the organization of discrimination and retaliation.

RLI Insurance Co. had no duty to defend or indemnify Chicanos Por La Causa Inc. in two underlying suits under the directors and officers policy issued to the nonprofit, the parties said in a joint stipulation filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Arizona.
