Pacific Life Wins Insurance Dispute Over Delivery of Policy

Pacific Life Insurance Co. won an insurance dispute after a federal appeals court said the estate of an individual who died can’t get benefits because he never accepted the policy.

The policyholder, Travis Richardson, never truly accepted the insurance policy even though he paid for the premiums, the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit said on Thursday.
