Nationwide Unit Ends Lawsuit Over Shareholder Liability Coverage

A Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. unit ended its suit against a smart thermostat technology company seeking to limit coverage under a directors and officers liability policy for shareholder litigation in Delaware.

Scottsdale Insurance Co. dismissed its claims without prejudice and each party will handle their own fees and costs, according to a Tuesday filing in the US District Court for the Northern District of California. No other details were immediately available.
