Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. is suing World Cheer Center LLC and others, alleging that World Cheer Center made misrepresentations on insurance applications that should allow Nationwide to rescind liability policies covering sexual abuse claims.
Nationwide alleges that World Cheer Center failed to disclose prior investigations of sexual abuse allegations against its owner, Vigiland D’Haiti, when applying for liability insurance policies from 2017 to 2022.
