Napa Restaurant, Allianz Get Mixed Ruling in Row Over 2017 Fire

A Napa Valley restaurant and affiliated cafe must continue to pursue insurance coverage for business income allegedly lost as a result of the October 2017 North Bay fires, a California federal judge ruled.

A genuine dispute of material fact remains as to whether Bottega and Ottimo had paused operations due to smoke damage, Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said.
