Mobile Phone Insurer Asurion Seeks Delay to File 2023 Results

Mobile phone insurer Asurion LLC — which has more than $12 billion of debt — is seeking a 45-day extension to file its audited financial results, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

The closely held company informed lenders on Monday that it needs more time to file the results, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing a private matter. The company said it is conducting an internal investigation into a third-party allegation that the company breached some terms of a client agreement, the people added.
