Meiji Yasuda to Park ¥150 Billion at Man for Private Assets (1)

Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Co. plans to park ¥150 billion ($1 billion) at Man Group Plc to invest in private assets including credit, partnering with one of the world’s largest listed hedge funds to boost profits.

A Meiji Yasuda spokesperson confirmed the details of the partnership with Man. The Japanese insurer will communicate to Man factors including its investment targets, time periods and risk management goals as the UK firm creates funds. Meiji Yasuda is considering investing ¥50 billion by the fiscal year starting April 2026 and a further ¥100 billion in the medium to long term.
