McKinsey Beats AIG, Chubb in Delaware Forum Fight in Opioid Case

McKinsey & Co. won its bid to knock out a lawsuit in Delaware brought by its liability insurers over coverage for litigation alleging the consulting giant stoked the opioid crisis.

The Delaware Superior Court lacks specific jurisdiction over McKinsey as a parent company incorporated and headquartered in New York, Judge Eric M. Davis said at a hearing Tuesday, granting the consulting firm’s motion to dismiss in a ruling from the bench.
