A Markel Group Inc. insurance unit is off the hook for a judgment against a Massachusetts lawyer sued for malpractice, a federal appeals court ruled.
Claims against attorney Peter Clark weren’t covered by a State National Insurance Co. insurance policy, Judge William J. Kayatta Jr. of the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit wrote in a Thursday opinion, affirming a lower court ruling.
