A Markel Group Inc. insurance unit is seeking a ruling that it doesn’t owe legal costs to parties in arbitration over an allegedly fraudulent 2021 securities transaction.
HR consulting firm Synuity Acquisition LLC in December 2024 initiated arbitration against certain individuals selling their equity interests in Platinum-HR. Synuity alleged the sellers made various misrepresentations and omissions and improperly competed with Synuity, among other claims.
