Logistics Firm Drops Biometric Privacy Insurance Coverage Suit

A logistics company in Illinois is dropping its suit against Coalition Insurance Solutions Inc. over coverage for biometric privacy litigation.

Best Solution Express Inc. and Coalition have reached a settlement agreement, the logistics company said in a motion for voluntary dismissal filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

• Best Solution sued Coalition and another insurer in March, seeking coverage for an underlying lawsuit brought under Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act.
