KBC Boosts Lending Income Guidance Again as Profit Beats

KBC Group NV lifted its net interest income outlook for the second time this year after third-quarter profit surpassed expectations.

The Belgian bank now expects lending income to be at least €5.95 billion ($6.9 billion) for the full year, up from a previous target of €5.85 billion, and in line with analysts estimates. The lender already raised its outlook in August.

Brussels-based KBC reported net income of €1 billion in the quarter, ahead of analyst estimates, according to a Thursday statement.
