A Louisiana high court ruling dealt a blow to a group of insurers seeking to enforce arbitration clauses in other insurers’ policies that were issued to a political subdivision owning properties damaged by 2020 hurricanes.
The Louisiana Supreme Court in an Oct. 25 opinion ruled on three questions certified to it by the US District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.
