Insurer Sues to Duck Claims Against Nevada Homeowners’ Group

A directors and officers policy issued to a Nevada homeowners’ association didn’t cover claims against it in a bankruptcy, a Hanover Insurance Group Inc. unit told a California federal court.

The claims weren’t covered because they were reported too late, AIX Specialty Insurance Co. said in a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
