Cincinnati Insurance Co. is suing an Illinois-based dental care provider over coverage for underlying privacy litigation alleging the office improperly used internet tracking software on its website.
An exclusion in Familia Dental LLC’s general liability policy for claims arising out of access to or disclosure of personal information precludes coverage for the proposed class action, the insurer said in a complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
