A real estate and construction company is taking its insurers to court over coverage for underlying litigation alleging unsafe conditions in military housing owned and managed by the company.
Units of Starr International Co. and Allianz SE have wrongfully denied or limited coverage for the suits under pollution liability and commercial general liability insurance policies issued to Balfour Beatty Communities LLC and Balfour Beatty Investments Inc., Balfour said in a complaint filed Jan. 16 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
