Humana Slips After Tapping Rechtin to Succeed CEO Broussard (1)

Humana dips as much as 1.5% after the company named Jim Rechtin as its next CEO to succeed Bruce Broussard, who will step down in the second half of 2024.

• Rechtin named COO and president, effective Jan. 8
  • Will report to Broussard until he steps down and Rechtin assumes CEO role
• Rechtin joins from Envision Healthcare, where he is CEO and president
  • Previously served as President of OptumCare, part of UnitedHealth Group
• Broussard joined Humana in 2011 and became CEO in 2013
