Hanover Insurer to Drop Privacy Coverage Case Against Drug Store

A Hanover Insurance Group Inc. unit and a Pacific Northwest drug store chain agreed to settle a suit over the insurer’s coverage duties in an underlying proposed privacy class action related to a data breach.

Hanover American Insurance Co. and Hi-School Pharmacy Services LLC notified the US District Court for the Western District of Washington of the settlement in principle in a joint filing Thursday.
