Hanover Insurance Units Win Reversal on Biometric Privacy Claims

Hanover Insurance Group Inc. units don’t have to defend an automotive accessory supplier against claims under Illinois’ landmark biometric privacy law, a federal judge said, reversing his prior ruling after a US appeals court weighed in on a related case.
