A firearm accessory maker is appealing a California federal court’s ruling that its liability insurer has no duty to cover litigation alleging its marketing tactics influenced the perpetrator of a 2022 school shooting in Washington DC.
SureFire LLC filed a notice of appeal to the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on Aug. 8.
