GOP Consultants Sue Insurers Over School Choice Initiative Case

GOP political consulting firms led by Jeff Roe are suing units of Zurich Insurance Group AG and Markel Group Inc., seeking coverage for a lawsuit alleging the firms defrauded a client on a Nevada school choice campaign.

The insurers delayed stating their position on potential coverage for nearly two years, and Zurich American Insurance Co. eventually “wrongfully denied” coverage, Axiom Strategies LLC, Vanguard Field Strategies LLC, and Garrison Management Group LLC said in a complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
