Gary Cohn Joins Board of Insurance Technology Firm Zinnia

Gary Cohn, the former president of Goldman Sachs Group Inc., has joined the board of Zinnia, an insurance technology company majority-owned by Eldridge Industries.

Greenwich, Connecticut-based Zinnia, led by Michele Trogni, said in October it raised $300 million in financing from Vista Credit Partners, and last April acquired North American life and annuity insurance assets from Ebix Inc. The company in 2023 added KKR & Co. as a investor through its purchase of Policygenius.

Zinnia is valued at about $1.75 billion including debt, a person with knowledge of the matter said.
