Florida Property Owner, Manager Sued by Insurer Over Sewage Case

An insurer sued a Florida property owner and manager, seeking to avoid covering claims against them filed by an RV park resident who said he was exposed to sewage.

Provisions in the commercial general liability policy issued by Crum & Forster Specialty Insurance Co. bar coverage for claims related to hazardous materials, bacteria, communicable diseases, and maintenance issues, the insurer said in a complaint Thursday in the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
