A life insurance data service company must face a revived case from a Massachusetts man seeking damages after an appeals court found the company’s intervention in another suit cost him extra attorney fees.
Malcolm Wiener has standing to pursue his case because he showed that an MIB Group, Inc. member’s testimony in the underlying suit related to his insurance policy caused him economic harm, the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit said Thursday.
