A W.R. Berkley Corp. insurance unit should pay a firearm manufacturer’s defense costs and any judgment or settlement costs in litigation over its purported connection to a 2022 school shooting in northwest Washington, D.C., the company said in a lawsuit.
The commercial general liability policy issued by Admiral Insurance Co. afforded coverage for the underlying allegations, FosTecH Inc. said in a complaint filed Oct. 4 in the US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
