A company that provides temperature-controlled storage and transportation services for drugmakers was hit with a lawsuit from its insurer seeking to avoid covering litigation over destroyed cell banks.

In a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Continental Casualty Co.—a Loews Corp. unit—requested a court declaration that it has no duty to defend or pay damages for the underlying suit brought by Vincerx Pharma Inc. against Yourway Transport Inc..
