A federal court tossed a Mississippi law firm’s suit against its cyber insurer over coverage for losses incurred after the firm was fraudulently induced to transfer funds to someone who used a false identity to engage its legal services.
The loss wasn’t covered under the cyber insurance policy issued by Spinnaker Insurance Co., the US District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi said in a Tuesday order dismissing the case.
