Chubb Unit Stalling Pollution Policy Payout, Manufacturer Says

A Chubb Ltd. insurance unit intentionally delayed paying for business interruption losses resulting from ITT Inc.'s investigation and remediation of radioactive material at its foundry in Seneca Falls, N.Y., the manufacturer alleged.

Illinois Union Insurance Co. initially admitted it owed coverage and paid in part, ITT said in a complaint filed May 9 in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
