A California financial advisory firm dismissed its suit against a Markel Group Inc. unit, its former insurer, for denying coverage to the company’s executives during an arbitration.
EnTrust Wealth Advisors LLC sued Markel American Insurance Co. in January, alleging a breach of contract and a bad-faith denial when the insurer declined to provide coverage under its directors and officers policy. The underlying arbitration involved claims against EnTrust’s executives by consulting firm BxC Partners over a botched agreement.
