Blackstone Hires Evercore’s John Sciales for Fund Finance Job

John Sciales is joining Blackstone for a role focused on private capital funds as the investment giant bolsters its asset-based finance team.

Sciales will report to Andie Goh and be part of the company’s infrastructure and asset-based credit team, which is grouped with the credit and insurance business, a spokesperson for Blackstone said.

Sciales has served as a vice president at Evercore since July 2024, where he also focused on financing private capital funds, according to his LinkedIn page. Prior to that, he spent nine years at UBS, it said.
